My basic view on art is that it is meant to make people think. many people today might agree that they are dealing with too many messages in their lives; it feels like I spend 90% of my waking hours trying to make sense of it all...
maybe my math is a bit off.
anyways, what I'm getting at is that more or less messages isn't the problem, but the quality...and the Effect (of course this is completely subjective to the individual). What i take from the graffiti movement in the last few decades--is these pieces in unexpected places are welcome grassroots artworks that incorporate and uplift/ even enlighten their surroundings-the most modern art form in my eyes
